Tsungayi Chiminya

TSUNGAYI CHIMINYA

Tsungayi Chiminya is the Founder and Senior Partner of Chiminya and Associates Legal Practitioners. She is also a registered Legal Practitioner, Notary Public and Conveyancer since 2010. Ms. Chiminya has been managing the law firm from its inception in 2013. Over the years, Tsungayi Chiminya has developed a special interest and acquired vast experience in Conveyancing, Estate Administration, Commercial LAw, Family Law, and Debt Collection. Her work experience spans from being an Associate at one the leading law firms in Zimbabwe namely, Mabuye Zvarevashe-Evans Legal Practitioners to being a partner at Lawman Chimuriwo Attorneys at Law. She is a voluntary lawyer of Justice for Children Trust, and a member of Zimbabwe Women Lawyers Association. She is also a Director of Camuchi Advertising (Private) Limited. Tsungayi Chiminya is an avid property, corporate and commercial law researcher. She provides tried and tested leadership to the firm and ensures client care remains indelibly etched in the culture of the firm.

Thabani Chikura

THABANI CHIKURA

Thabani Chikura is an Associate who joined our law firm in October 2022 as an intern. She was admitted as a Legal Practitioner, Conveyancer and Notary Public in April 2023. As an aspiring young legal professional, her interest spans from civil litigation to several other aspect of legal practice such as commercial law, family law and labour law. She has appeared before several courts and tribunals and has represented our clients’ interests exceptionally. Thabani is highly motivated, dynamic, and exceptionally talented lawyer with a very promising future. She is an articulate and focused professional with strong research and analytical skills.

WEDZERAI TONGOFA

Wedzerai Tongofa is an Associate who joined the firm in October 2024. She graduated from law school in 2023 and was registered as a Legal Practitioner, Conveyancer and Notary Public in the same year.
Wedzerai is a dynamic and ardent litigation lawyer specialising in family law more particularly matrimonial, and inheritance matters. She has handled and advised on contested and uncontested divorce, maintenance, domestic violence cases, just to mention a few. Ms Tongofa has also handled several other contentious civil matters involving contractual disputes, debt and asset recovery, eviction proceedings.
Wedzerai's excellent research and drafting skills, combined with her thorough and detailed approach have consistently contributed towards her overall success in numerous court appearances. She has already established herself as a valuable asset to the Chiminya and Associates Team and continues to contribute towards the firm's success.
